60. Windows NT Backup Restore Utility

Remember the launch of Windows XP and the problems that were created because of the change in the backup procedure between XP and previous versions of Windows. Do you recall having everything backed up to QIC files only to find that, when you launched the Windows XP backup utility, NTBackup, you were unable to access the files because XP used the BKF file extension.

Fortunately this problem isn't going to occur with Windows Vista. Microsoft have released a utility that will enable you now to restore NTBackup files in Windows Vista
