120. Enable/Disable The Windows Explorer
Navigation Pane
The Windows Explorer navigation pane is situated
to the left of the Windows Explorer Window and helps
you navigate through the contents of the current
window. If you prefer a larger window area and do
not wish to see the navigation pane you can disable
it as follows:
Disable
1/ Open Windows Explorer.
2/ On the main tool bar, click
Organize.
3/ From the drop down menu that
appears, Click the Layout option.
4/ Another drop down menu will appear.
5/ From this drop down menu,
Click on the Navigation Pane
option.
6/ The navigation pane will now disappear.
Enable
1/ Open Windows Explorer.
2/ On the main tool bar, click
Organize.
3/ From the drop down menu that
appears, Click the Layout option.
4/ Another drop down menu will
appear.
5/ From this drop down menu, Click on the
Navigation Pane option (the navigation icon
will now turn blue to say it is enabled).
6/ The navigation pane will now
appear.
